How brands & BIFKiDS work
THE BIF PROCESS...
start with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Using the SDGs as a guide to what’s needed, more briefs perhaps than goals, we collaborate with brands to create unique solutions ‘by kids, for kids’
These solutions can be:
- imaginations brought to life as a storybook, shared with a brand’s staff, stakeholders and customers as a communication of their intent
- and/or we go even further into new product or service development
- and/or we partner to campaign brand new products & services as cobranded innovations
Working with BIFKiDS...
We help brands understand a great question, convene groups of children connected to their companies and provide a process that produces amazing communication assets, a beautiful story and a fun project.
When required, we work with brands to agree compensation and rewards for our youthful collaborators - them, or their communities, schools, etc.

Collabs we’ve done before
Outdoor Classroom Day
We joined forces with client friends at Unilever Persil ‘Dirt is Good’ to provide a BIFKiDS Sustainability Challenge for Outdoor Classroom Day around removing single use plastics. We focused on creating a non-plastic reusable water bottle.
We saw some amazing ideas from more than 2 million global kids who took part - from bamboo bottles to plant-based leafs glued with tree sap (we're keen to progress and prototype some of these so watch this space).
Vivobarefoot, London
We love the principles of barefoot moving and running, especially for wild kids. So, we collaborated with Vivobarefoot to deliver a problem-solving competition; kids exploring ideas to colour-up their Vivobarefoot shoes and go 'wild adventuring' in them.
Powershop, NZ
Powershop wanted to connect the customer call centre with the local community.
We joined forces with a neighbouring primary school and challenged kids to re-imagine how Powershop could better ‘make, move and use’ energy.
We took the best idea and turned it into an Ideas Girl book - which we shared with Powershop customers and the local community to spread the good cheer.
Jamie Oliver/ Charlton Manor School, South London
Jamie Oliver is a renowned healthy food campaigner - especially kids school lunches. We teamed up as part of Jamies anti-obesity drive to innovate with Charlton Manor School (check their food bona fides). The kids took on the challenge of creating better breakfast products to 'start the day in the best possible way'.
The kids created some awesome product ideas and confident presentations.
And, the work continues - so, if you are a for-kids food brand, do get in touch (p.s. we have a brilliant transformation campaign all set to go).
